Blog Entry #10 Why Esmeralda from "Hunchback of Notre Dame" is the best Disney heroine

When put in a position where she can either accept death or marry her accuser she spits on him and chooses to burn at the stake rather than lose her dignity. Her character teaches girls a persons values, morals and dignity are what is most important to uphold in life, and must not be corrupted for any reason. 

    Esmeraldas character teaches girls to be compassionate and kind to others while also upholding moral values at any cost necessary making her the greatest role model and Heroine in Disney's line up.

     " Wrongfully convicted Florida man shot, killed by Georgia deputy ," when having read this title, reported on by CBS Miami, I, like many others immediately thought of the recent incidents of police officers overstepping their power resulting in the deaths of innocent members of the community, most often black.
