The Good Son, a movie about confronting your demons and going against every instinct you have in order to do what is right.

The movie starts off with Mark, a 12 year old boy comforting his mother who is dying in a hospital bed. His mom passes away leaving Mark with his father who then leaves Mark with his aunt and uncle while he's away on a business trip. We quickly learn the aunt is also grieving her own loss of her baby boy Richard, who drowned in the bathtub. While on his stay, Mark meets his cousin, Henry, a boy around his age who is charismatic, and charming to those around him. However, this outer appearance proves too only go skin deep, slowly Henry begins to showcase his true character. Henry begins to have what he claims are accidents, starting with a neighborhood dog who he "accidentally" shoots, then progresses to a "prank" which goes wrong resulting in a major traffic accident. Throughout these "accidents," which Henry tricked Mark into participating in, the audience gets to see just how far Henrys manipulation goes, as he's not only convinced Mark he will be blamed for the accidents, but has convinced the adults around them that Mark is unwell and in need of psychiatric help.

Henry's mothers lost one baby already and is desperate to avoid the growing suspicion she has over the involvement Henry had in Richards death. However, when Henry pushes the limit, and her, to the point she has too confront her son head on she is faced with a moral dilemma. Does she protect her babies murderer in order to avoid losing another son?
